The Idolatry Of Mary, the mother of Jesus

Continuing with the posts that I know will not be received well we will look at the horrific idolization of the mother of Jesus Christ. She is "venerated" by members of the Catholic faith, but it is completely against the Bible and is satanic and witchcraft. I implore any Catholic who may read these words and be infuriated stop and get out a Bible and read for yourself what God has to say in his Word! I love you and I want you to see what the Bible has to say about how we are to relate to God and how He relates to us! When St. Paul was preaching in Ephesus, he had an exceptionally serious problem with the local idolatry. In fact, this is the only time that the Bible says that persecution of Christians came directly from the conflict of the Church with idolatry. The people of Ephesus, prior to the introduction of the Christian Faith, had mainly been worshippers of the pagan Greek goddess Artemis, also known by her Roman name, Diana. This was one of the largest active pagan...

A Very Delicate Subject

Over the next few posts I will be covering a subject very dear to me, but if I cover it I will be labeled a bigot, a discriminant and completely uncouth. However, it is necessary for the illumination of the scriptures to those who are rapidly spinning out of control towards a Godless Hell. People a truly headed toward an end that they will not expect and that the great deceiver who is the adversary has plotted since his removal from the heavenly hosts. Let me begin by saying that I am not a hate-monger nor am I advocating anyone who is a "hater" and a bigot, but the truth of the Word of God is indeed the truth no matter how you stretch it. If what the Bible says is offensive to you I suggest that you inquire with its ultimate author God.. Now to the difficult task at hand... There is a religious system that  began at Babel shortly after the flood. Nimrod, the mighty one, established his kingdom and built many great cities. One of these was Babel, which later...

Relationship vs. Religion

This is a major problem in Christendom. In my mind there are so many people confused about the differences between a relationship with Jesus Christ versus the tenets of Religion that it has caused many people to fall away from the faith or choose rather not to get into it. We as people need to understand that when we are saved we are not baptized into a system that was formulated by the postulates or rules of people as they interpreted the Word of God, but a one-to-one relationship with the God of the Universe that no one can have any say in but God Himself and you. Period. I know that this post is long, but it is necessary! What are We Seeking? Religion or Relationship? God does not want a people who simply adhere to a set of rules no matter how well intended. God said in the book of Hosea, “For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice, and in the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings” (Hosea 6:6). Sacrifices meant nothing because their hearts were unfaithful to God. God ...

The Gospel of Inclusion: A Fool's Belief

I wanted to address an issue that has been floating around a bit in the world of Christendom and that is a controversial doctrine that is now circulating in the African-American community, but is slowly making its rounds into all communities and backgrounds. This "doctrine" is credited to (although not originated) by a former Bishop in the Church Of God In Christ (an African-American Pentecostal denomination) by the name of Carlton Pearson. The gospel of inclusion is simply the old heresy of universalism re-packaged and given a new name. Universalism is the belief that all people will eventually be saved and go to heaven. The gospel of inclusion, as taught by Carlton Pearson, encompasses these false beliefs: (1) The gospel of inclusion espouses that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ paid the price for all of humanity to enjoy eternal life in heaven without any need for repentance. (2) The gospel of inclusion teaches that salvation is unconditional and does n...

Can I Access God For Myself?

One of the questions that seem to plague many Christians today is the question of access to God Himself. The answer is YES! I have myself at one time wondered why did God need a mediator between Himself and us? Of course I learned as time progressed that this only supposed to be in place until Jesus came to die for us on the cross and pay the heavy price of sin for us all. One thing that happened that signified the change from needing priest to represent us and going to God directly involved the curtain being torn in the temple at the moment of Christ's death on the cross. During the lifetime of Jesus, the holy temple in Jerusalem was the center of Jewish religious life not unlike how our churches are for us today. The temple was the place where animal sacrifices were carried out and worship according to the Law of Moses was followed faithfully. Hebrews 9:1-9 tells us that in the temple a veil separated the Holy of Holies—the earthly dwelling place of God’s presence—from the res...

Why Is Revealing The Truth So Important?

A good question that has been plaguing many Christians and truth seekers for so many years. There are so many false doctrines and unscriptural practices out there that are parading themselves as the truth that many who are seeking God run into these counterfeits or people who have no idea why they believe what they believe. My prayer is that this blog will begin the process of getting people to seek God on their own and ask Him for the answer they seek versus a man or woman who is interpreting what God said to them. The goal of this blog is to not bash or trash anyone and their beliefs. You can freely seek God in any way that you wish. However, according to the Bible there is only one way to Heaven and that is through Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. According to Acts 2:38 we must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. We must follow Romans 10:9-10 and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and that He is risen from the dead and then we shall be saved. It is ...
