Yes, Homosexuality Is A SIN!
I can no longer remain silent on one of the greatest offenses to God Our Creator which is homosexuality. There are those who like to say that the Bible does not condemn homosexuality and they are sadly mistaken. Various verses are cited (out of context) and the verses that people use to show that homosexuality is wrong are explained away. The world wants to change God's words and meanings into something more suitable to its sinful desires.
Nevertheless, the truth stands: The Bible condemns homosexuality as a sin and here is what it says.
Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."
Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"
1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."
Homosexuality is clearly condemned by the Bible and I don't care which prominent preacher or theologian gets on camera and declares otherwise it goes against the created order of God. He created Adam and then made a woman. Think about this for a moment... God saw that man was lonely and decided to create a help mate for him and made SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAN HIMSELF and told Adam to go enjoy this WOMAN! Never in any scripture, text, context or alluded statement has God EVER agreed with or ordained any same sex coupling! You will not find it! This relationship between a man and a woman is what God has ordained and it is what is right. Unlike other sins, homosexuality has a severe judgment administered by God Himself.
This judgment is simple:
They are given over to their passions. That means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins (Romans 1:18ff).
As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing. Without an awareness of their sinfulness, there will be no repentance and trusting in Jesus. Without Jesus, they will have no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no salvation.
Here is another point that I would like to make... Homosexuality is not infiltrating our local churches, but its taking over! Let's face the raw facts... Churches are just like businesses. In order to stay alive they need people to pump capital into them. These days the hordes of homosexuality will label a church intolerant if they preach against gays and if they take a stand that gay people will not serve in ANY CAPACITY in their church which causes those who are not rooted and grounded in the Gospel of Jesus Christ to fall away and run to churches that accept everyone and preach a watered down gospel! Any church that allows a gay musician, gay preacher, gay bishop or allows the abuse of other congregants by any gay leader or person in authority is an abomination and that church must be abandoned by anyone who knows the truth!
The adversary is so bold in this generation that the gays aren't just in a back corner of the church, but are preaching and are on the pulpits in America! We have gay bishops and gay pastors quoting scripture on TV telling those who stick with the principles of scripture that "that was yesterday's gospel and that we have to speak in a NOW generation voice!" The Bible says that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! To top it all off we have well-known preachers at rallies and at events marching with gays saying that they have a civil right to be gay and that they were born that way and since God doesn't make mistakes that God accepts them and knows that they are the way they are! What rubbish!
I sound the alarm to every American that ever reads this post! Every culture that succumbed to the will of homosexuality was destroyed! Sodom & Gomorrah, Ancient Greece, Rome, Medieval Europe or whoever! God has allowed that civilization to FALL! America, it’s time to blow the Trumpet in Zion and sound the alarm that we have been overtaken and that we need to rid this abomination out of the true church of Jesus Christ! We must raise our voices so that others will hear the true gospel versus this watered down feel-good fairy tale that is so pervasive in megachurches and "spiritual centers" around the country.
There are many who preach a false gospel and I will not name them here, but try their spirit by the Word of God and see if they add up! The only Gospel of Inclusion are those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life! The only way to heaven is Jesus Christ! The only truth is the Truth in Jesus Christ! Sin is sin and I don't care if they claim love or rights they are in sin and they are at odds with God and they will not be reconciled with God until they abandon these abominable ways! I make no apology for these statements!
What should be the Christian's Response to the Homosexual? Love! Just because someone is a homosexual does not mean that we cannot love him (or her) or pray for him (her). Homosexuality is a sin and like any other sin, it needs to be dealt with in the only way possible. It needs to be laid at the cross, repented of, and never done again. As a Christian, we should pray for the salvation of the homosexual the same as we would for any other person in sin. The homosexual is still made in the image of God -- even though he or she is in grave sin. Therefore, we should show them the same dignity as anyone else with which we come in contact. However, this does not mean that we are to approve of their sin. Don't compromise our witness for a socially-acceptable opinion that is void of godliness!
I implore anyone who is not saved or sure of where you will spend eternity please ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and that you wish Him to be the Lord of your life. No matter what you've done and no matter what you've been you are forgivable and Jesus will accept you back as His own. We all have to come to Jesus as broken and flawed as we are because He knows this and still loves us! No sinner's prayer and no pomp and circumstance. Just a one-to-one conversation with Jesus. Find a church that is focused on the Bible and not religion and then begin to read that same Bible like your life depended on it. Trust me, if you really want Jesus to live in and through you He will do just that!
